Publication Process
All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Exercise Physiology and Human Performance (JOSPHE) undergo a rigorous editorial and peer-review process to ensure scientific quality, originality, and relevance to the journal's focus and scope.
1. Manuscript Submission
Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal's online submission system. Submitted manuscripts must comply with the journal's author guidelines and ethical standards.
2. Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial team conducts an initial assessment to evaluate the manuscript's suitability for the journal's scope, adherence to submission requirements, originality, and overall scientific quality.
Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's standards may be rejected without external review.
3. Plagiarism Screening
All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software to ensure originality and compliance with publication ethics.
4. Peer Review Process
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to independent expert reviewers under a double-blind peer-review process, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:

5. Editorial Decision

Authors receiving revision requests are expected to submit a revised manuscript along with a response to reviewers' comments within the specified timeframe.
6. Final Acceptance
After all required revisions have been satisfactorily completed, the manuscript may be accepted for publication.
7. Copyediting and Proofreading
Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, language editing, formatting, and proofreading to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with the journal's publication standards.
8. Author Proof Approval
The corresponding author receives page proofs for final review and approval prior to publication.
